I’m quite proud of my kids. They take hygiene very seriously. They wash their hands after going to the bathroom and after playing with the hamster. And before they eat. They also make sure mom and dad keep clean too.
Im always looking for new ways to help the kids and I keep the germs away.

Throw used tissues in toilet and flush away, don’t leave them hanging about.
Keep kitchen counters clean and hygienic by wiping them down regularly.
As a proud mother of a very busy 5 year old girl. My best tip is to always keep wet wipes in your handbag. They are so handy and the detol ones are the best.

You have no idea how many times a day I was my hands!
In our house, hand washing is very important. Especially since we have a house full of pets.
We all wash our hands after cuddling with our pets, and after using the bathroom, but the way we stay germ free in our house is by also washing our hands before we start anything like cooking, eating or setting the table.
We use a variety of anti-bacterial products in our house as well as a couple of natural alternatives like bicarb as well but the most important for me is the hand-washing/hand sanitizing at every opportunity.
You can’t spread germs by your hands if they have been annihilated by a good handwash.
I always keep dettol hand sanitiser in my handbag for when I am not near a place to wash my hands. Countertops, sinks, and places most frequently touched suh as wall switches and remotes are wiped with Dettol all purpose cleaner. I clean before and after I cook, and the kids immediately clean up after they eat to avoid flies and other insects being attracted to the smell of food. I make use of the dettol hands free handwash dispanser for the bathroom which I think is magical! I have noticed, hygiene conscious people are usually healthier and who doesn’t want that for them and their loved ones .. this is a very awesome prize!
I have liquid soap at every sink and wet wipes in every room! I never leave the house without hand sanitizer in my bag.
I have to admit with 3 big kids and one baby it is a battle ensuring the house is always clean and germ free, but like most moms we OCD about the baby crawling on the floor then chewing their hands, so we (my Patricia & I) ensure the floors are always cleaned with an antiseptic germ cleaner in the water…and we use the Dettol hand soap thingy because after a kids has washed their hands with a bar of soap I may as well throw it away, looks like it has a marble of mud design on it! 🙂
When we come home from the shopping we all wash our hands. I love to wipe down door handles in the home and car (steering wheel too!). I try to wipe down baby’s toys often as well.
