On Thursday I gave a talk/speech type thingy to a room of about 40 women, most old enough to be my Grandmother.
I spoke about my trip to Israel, what we did, what I learnt and what it meant to me.
I was shaking and sweating and went blank a few times, but…
There was one little old lady sitting two tables away from me, she kept nodding and smiling, agreeing so wholeheartedly with what I was saying.
Little old lady, thank you! Thank you for listening, for giving me the confidence to speak more, for motivating me to continue when all I wanted to do was run. Thank you little old lady, you made my day!
